Kate Sylvester advises investors and issuers on strategic communications surrounding transformational corporate events and reputational matters. Her experience spans shareholder activism, friendly and hostile M&A, litigation and restructuring, corporate crises and other special situations where effective multi-stakeholder engagement is critical.

Throughout her career, Kate has represented dozens of institutional asset managers running hedge fund, private equity, venture capital and private credit strategies. She partners closely with founders, CEOs and executive teams to develop strategic communications programs that strengthen their firms’ corporate reputations and support capital formation, deal sourcing and talent acquisition strategies.

Prior to joining Longacre Square, Kate was a Senior Vice President at Sloane & Company.  She also previously worked at Prosek Partners and began her career at Edelman in Washington, D.C. Kate holds a dual B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park.
